Not looking at entering a competition, show photos of before/after, going into business, posting results on bf.c. I’m just looking at protecting the family fleet: one is silver, other car is red.

So....this weekend I worked on the kid hauler that had a lot of swirls, light oxidation, etc...

-Wash w/ auto zone sourced car shampoo (Mcguire's Brand)
-Mcguire's clay
-Using PC, polished with Poor Boys 3 (orange pad for all steps)
-Polish with Poor Boys 2.5
-Polish with Poor Boys 2
-Finally Poor Boys 1
-Sealed with MDS (Reflection, Thunder, and then Lightning) (black pad)

BTW, what happened to MDS? I purchased the 3 bottle set about 2 years ago. I used it for the 1st time this weekend and it looks good.

My next attempt will be to skip the MDS and try Klasse High Gloss. However, I do not know what I should use for a wax after the Klasse.

Mahalo!

San Juan? SRSLY? You know we do work in PR a few times a year? Check us out (autolavish.com), and I have some inventory on Blackfire and Klasse (and other stuff) in PR, could do a sample for you...

Assuming you are using a PC, I would use a lighter pad for the Poorboy's #1 at least, something like black LLC or black Meguiar's. Klasse is great stuff, but hard to wipe off. Apply with PC ultra thin and it goes much easier. For wax, after Klasse, it won't really matter. Any good wax will look great. To seal or wax with the PC use a blue pad.

In Corpus now. But visit PR frequently. Thanks for the good info.
