CD Changer Help Needed

Darin told me about a CD changer out of an E32 today, so I went and picked it up from the junkyard for $10, since my '93 is prewired for it. It's a CDX-M91zbm. When I plugged it in it had power, but when I pressed the button to eject the cartridge it just clicked. I pulled the lid off it and I can see the stuff moving, but it looks like it's stuck. Anyone have any info regarding that?

Also, how do I get my head unit to recognize it? Searching I saw someone saying to press - and PROG, which I did, then my stereo displayed ALIPINE3. Any ideas?

thats odd. just got my stock deck running with my oem changer. i have to hit band a couple times, past am, until it says cd. not sure about the changer issue tho. mine takes a while to pop the cartridge when a cd is 'engaged'. try pulling the housing apart to see if something jammed and easily fixed.
