I drove to Costa Mesa, CA yesterday and finally bought an e34. I picked up a 1994 540iA. 165k miles with some serious hood oxidation but has extensive maintainance records. Plus, it was only $2000!
Anyway, here are some pics of my bimmers:

Alpine is always a good choice.
Not a fan of e39 M5 wheels though but to each his own.

Nice pickup. LOVE the choice for the wheels!! I have a set in my garage i'm waiting to put on my newly acquired E34 as well.

Thanks. Worst of it is that both of my bimmers have broken/cracked passenger fog lights :(

no i'm not, i'm guessing its the m3 but i've never driven either. i'm a bmw newb so do please endulge me on what you feel is faster because i already want another and i'm debating between a 540 e39 or a m3...which is why i ask...

nice job and good score. Id be in for pics of color matched lowers, including ducts, and alpine skirts.
you do need a drop though, it makes a world of difference and that wheel gap you have now will only be accentuated by putting those 17s on.

Yup, it's an e46 M3, which is why it is quite a bit faster(more Hp in a lighter car).

Very true. The 540 feels pretty quick in its own right but the e46 m3 is worlds faster. I love the m3, but am glad to have another fun bmw to share the miles load from daily driving.

Stock m3 numbers: 333hp and 265 ft/lbs torque. I have also added a remus muffler and k&n cai.
