In order to do that you need to remove the battery tray in the passenger rear of the engine bay. Its not easy. What year is your car?

What up!
I have e36 1992is 2 door. My main use for this car is Track...
Last week I have installed aluminum radiator with a 16" spal fan.
Also at the same time I have eliminated couple of unwanted parts like AC system and some wiring that was in the way... After putting everything back i did not realy like how some of the hoses ran. Plus half I don’t even need for example throttle body and air box heater hoses.
Thanks,
Alex

Funny, I installed mine with ZERO issues with the "battery tray" in place.

If it's not to much to ask, can you please post some pics.
Also, did you eliminate some of the unwanted coolant hoses.
Thanks...
