Ok, my 525 is in dire need of a complete suspension overhaul, and I've been weighing my options and this looks like a pretty good deal...

Anyone have experience with FCP's stuff?

They carry Lemfoerder, but going with this package(which has everything I need minus shocks/springs/shock mounts and yadayada) would save me a considerable amount of money. I know there was a thread here recently concerning them, just looking for first hand experience if at all possible. I will most likely buy this tomorrow along with a few other things my car is in need of, just hoping to get some positive feedback.

TIA, Jeff

[The upper CA bushing lasted me less than a year. Drag link ball joint gave up the ghost shortly after. YMMV with a less aggressive overall setup.

Most here will state that FCP stuff is junk (however that have, within the last month, stated directly on this forum they will be improving product quality in upcoming production).

I say, go with Meyle HD (HD is a must) if you don't want to pay top dollar for Lemfoerder.

Alot of guys here track, auto-x and driver their E34s pretty spiritedly. If you're a pretty casual driver, I don't see a need to run to the Lemfoerder parts. However, I haven't been here all that long, so we'll get some more researched feedback from the gurus here soon...

Yeah, t that price I don't see the stuff being the best quality, they do offer a 16pc meyle HD kit for $750, I may go that route. I never drive my car much past 75-80 and don't have the need for really heavy duty stuff.

I do plan on lowering the car though, how does the meyle HD hold up with an aggressive drop?

And by aggressive I mean a coilover setup.

Basically what I'm asking is what do you guys with Nex/groundcontrol run for suspension components? I know, I should have been more clear in my OP:embarrasm

EDIT: this kit http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/14033/nm/BMW_E34_16_Piece_Heavy_Duty_Control_Arms_and_Tie_R ods_Kit_1989_1996_Meyle_/category_id/181

I would like to order through FCP because they're in state and seem to have customer satisfaction at the top of their minds right now.
