1/2 the cost of what I quoted= $45 shipped
It all depends on the wheel itself- if you use stock rims then no more than 5mm spacers on a 75mm stud.
Thanks

No not a typo- 75mm stud can only really accept a 5mm spacer with a stock rim. I'll try and take a pic for you to see. Once the stock wheel goes on theres enough room for the nut to tighten down and have a few threads left.

Paypal payment sent... do you guys have any specific installation instructions or should I just copy the vorshlag ones?
Is there any coating on the studs to prevent rust?
Do you have a discount price if we already have lug nuts of our own?
Thanks!

i just checked my fikse wheels, they have about 10mm of metal between the surface that mounts to the hub and where the lugnuts screw in. i am also running a 10mm spacer as well.

Hi guys, i received my 4 studs for a test fitment. i got 2 75mm and 2 90mm studs.
i tested them with OE wheel, OE wheel with 10mm spacer and Fikse with 10mm spacer.
10mm spacers with 75mm studs do fit. theres about 12 turns for the nut to screw on.
it looks short but i have read that 8 turns is the minimum you should have.
here are some pics(excuse the mess, i havent washed the car since september). top left stud is 75mm, bottom left is 90mm, bottom right is 75mm and top right is 90mm. i tightened down 1 75mm and 1 90mm stud with lugnuts to show the thread remaining:
OE wheel:

Fikse wheel with 10mm spacer:

http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s264/hc1001/Studs/Fikse10mm2.jpg
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s264/hc1001/Studs/Fikse10mm3.jpg
Im still undecided which stud size i want. 75mm looks a bit short, 90mm looks long. the LTW wheels look fine with the 75mm studs but my Fikse look better with the longer stud. i wish 80mm was available. i might jus go with 75mm so it doesnt take 100 turns to unscrew the lugnut and also less unsprung weight. any comments on which stud size to get are appreciated. im still debating...
I might also replace the lugnuts that come with the kit, the conical part of the ARD lugnut has very small surface area compared to other nuts.
ARD's customer service is great! super fast shipment. very helpful and willing to work with the customers. i cant wait for new products! Do u guys do frame straightening? have you guys worked on a R53 Mini cooper s? my bro got into a front end crash and is looking for a place with experience in Minis. PM me back about it.
thanks. i hope this helps other ppl in deciding to get the ARD stud kit.

Well the reason why the 75mm fit better on the LTWs is because of the wheel width. What are the specs on the LTW and Fikse wheels?
I'm going to be running a 17x8.5 Kosei and 17x9 SSR Comp in the front so I think 90mm w/ a 15mm spacer will be perfect..
Thanks for all the pictures, I'm sure they will be helpful for a new product. How do you like the quality of the studs? Mine should arrive sometime this week and I'm really excited.

the first group of pics is jus the LTW wheel with no spacer. the second group is LTW with 10mm spacer. third group is fikse with 10mm spacer. the wheels are very similar backspacing because you can see they leave the same amount of space on the bullet nose of the 75mm studs in the second and third group of pics. i said the fikse look better with long studs because the wheel design has a very deep lug hole area. it has nothing to do with the backspacing of the wheel, its jus how fikse designed the lug holes, very deep holes. thats my dilemma. 75mm would be more convenient, and save weight but look too short on the fikse.
The studs look of good quality and great for the price. the lugnuts dont look that good. as i said in my previous post, they have less conical surface space, about half of what stock and other lugnuts have. i dunno if that makes a difference.
i occasionally take my car to the track and i dont want anything breaking or being overstressed when im driving my car at its limits.
I think you will be pleased with the kit.

Hey guys, is this deal still going on? Could you recommend a stud size for me? 99' M3 with a sportmax 962 wheels. 18x8.5 35mm offset. I would like to order soon. I pretty much know nothing about wheels but I would like them flush, do I need a spacer? If so how big and will that affect the stud size? Thank you very much.

I'm potentially interested in this as well. However, I have Work Wheels and was told the studs should be 12mm with 1.5 or 1.25 lug nuts (whatever that means). A 14mm stud would make the clearance very small when adding the lug nuts.

Stud length is 75mm or 90mm
The thickness is 12mm and thread pitch is 1.5

On a side note, how on earth do you install the studs in the wheel hub??
I would also be interested in regular lug studs if you sell those; I can't re-use my stock ones since the head is too big.

If you take a full car shot, you will barely notice the studs since you will be about 15 feet away from the car.
you could just search for pics of cars with wheel studs. there are a lot on the board.

Ordered a 75mm kit, super fast shipping coast to coast, great product!
The 75mm stud kit works with my 15mm spacers btw, I get about 9-10 turns on the nut. The end of the stud sits flush with the top of the nut, looks really clean. I ended up using these some JDM tyte forged aluminum lugs for extra security as my previous set of wheels was stolen, looks very clean:

Just to make sure I understand this right, the instructions say to only torque the stud in the hub to 10ft.lbs ? Is that correct ?! I'm not familiar with studs but that sounds only a little more than hand tight. Just wanted to double check I understand this right before any wheels fall off LOL
Thanks!!

A little surprise gift from the folks at ARD :D . I had the studs for like two months but just noticed it yesterday when I emptied the box :)
I did screw up one of my rims though when it fell over on my old lug studs :banghead: . Luckily it's not my new rims and I will refinish the style 42s in the end anyway.
