Ok so my tires seem to have worn out completely on the outside edge on the fronts and more on the inside edge on the rears. I may need an alignment since it tends to pull a bit right, but not that bad at all. I also keep proper tire pressure on all tires. I asked the dealer and they said that was normal for BMW to wear out in that pattern. Anyone know if that's true?

Yes, we do. Yes, it is.
you can get an alignment and ask them to set the rear camber at the lowest setting of the "normal" range. The range is something like -1.05 to -2.25, and you want it set out at the -1.05 so that the rear tires are more vertical, and therefore will wear less on those inside edges.
You're probably stuck with the outer edges wearing out on the front, since that's (usually) due to cornering.

That sucks because the rest of the tread is in pretty good shape

Well, just drive it at 35 mph all the time. Problem solved.

or you could rotate your wheels and tires every 3 days or so.

Rear camber does not wear your tires in this pattern. It is the excessive toe-in that is spec for the factory alignment. This setup makes the car "safer" but also wears tires out faster. This is true for the rear anyways.
The front may be too much toe-out which isn't good. Get an alignment and new tires.

Sounds like your toe is out of spec on the front. The rear you just have to live with.
How many miles are on them btw?

About 26k miles which I'm told is a lot for the stock Potenzas. The backs are not nearly as bad as the fronts. I'm not really surprised they wore out, I've had to replace tires on all my other cars at about this mileage was just worried about the wear pattern. Once I put new tires on I will get it aligned.
