Gentlemen--
I figured I'd throw some photos up from today's adventure with these crazy Colorado country boys (93FIM5 and me78569)... We drove up the mountain to go shoot some guns.
We had in the artillery:
One (1) E34 front passenger door- Oxford Green 1995 540i/6
AR-15
.45
Three (3) 12 gauge shotguns
Two (2) .22 rifles
and ~$200 worth of ammo and clays.
Enjoy.

its no wonder why som many americans die a year from guns, just the fact that you are allowed an arsenal like that is disturbing, licensed sure, but still....
wait, you need a gun to protect yourself from the other guy who has a gun, simple solution, take the guns away
but in saying that, when i was in Poland, i got to shoot some rounds of with an AK-47, my testosterone levels peaked instantly and i was king of the world when shooting it, yes it is fun

The only Class 3 I've ever fired was an MP5, aka the Spam Cannon. Looks like a toy, feels like a toy (shoot it one-handed even with my skinny arms), and is about as accurate as a toy. Full-auto by itself is a good deal of crude fun but it'd be a lot more satisfying with something that can actually hit a barn from inside. I want to play with an MG42 someday...
I would love a truck
Remember mine? It's kinda for sale...

Make it illegal to have guns? So the only people that will have guns are the people who don't follow the law? (aka criminals) :rolleyes

The VAST majority die in this country from either handguns (which these are not) or suicide. It's relatively uncommon for a crime to be committed with an assault rifle. Gun nuts with high powered rifles and sweet shotguns are pretty harmless.
And yeah, people die from guns in this country, but that's the premium on our insurance policy we took out back in the 18th Century. The Canadian blitzkrieg wouldn't roll across Detroit in 36 days, let alone our entire country.

try nightvision movement shooting with live ammo and grenades.....well, at least the grenades were 'popppers', so if your dickhead battle buddy tossed one in your lap it would only castrate you- and not keep you from seeing the children you never fathered (being castrated and all) grow up. I don't know what that means.

That reminds me of ordering my dad a shitton of polish flares (with flare gun from WWII)....he says he keeps trying to find an excuse to use them (Search and REscue)....I'm still working on the 'Polish flare gun' joke.

I actually only bird hunt (duck, dove, wild quail) but I want to give deer hunting a try... I've been boar "hunting" a few times... but it's pretty much just going around in a couple trucks, drinking beers and shooting anything that moves with beds filled with ak's, ar's and other assorted rifles and handguns... my friends are the ones that have the real arsenals.

Pick up a bow and learn to stalk. Will teach you many valuable lessons and it's fun as hell putting yourself on that level with the animal rather than squeezing off a round from hundreds of yards.

EH its a nice gun but to me was a fail in Vietnam. I have shot one and its very nice clean rifle when its well maintained.
For me so far i love the SKS great rifle low maintenance and the ammo for now is cheap. I have shot allot of guns and probably my most exciting was a MG42 from WW2 amazing power CRAZY sound. The most amazing gun that i wish i was able to shoot is the Barret 50.cal this guy bought one down in Texas and he lives in CT just a amazing powerful rifle so loud that the ear muffs didn't even stop the sound :buttrock

Mosin-Nagant 91/30
Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge w/18.5" barrel and other goodies
Savage/Stevens 87D .22
Mossberg 385 bolt-action 20 gauge shotgun
Approximately 1.5k rounds of mixed ammo for all 4 guns.
I don't have an extra door at my disposal, but I have had my eyes on an E39 touring hatch that's been collecting dust in the shop after an accident.

License??? Only license you need is one for conceal carry.
There are more deaths in the U.S. by medical mistakes, poisoning, or even bicycle accidents that there are from homicide by firearm.
Outlawing gun ownership has really worked out well in Australia, well lets look at some of the numbers.
In 1997, just 12 months after the new laws went into effect, across Australia homicides jumped 3.2 percent, armed robberies were up a whopping 44 percent, assaults up 8.6 and in the state of Victoria there was a 300 percent increase in homicides. Prior to the new dictatorial anti-gun laws, statistics showed a steady decrease in armed robberies with firearms; now, there has been a dramatic increase in break-ins, especially against the elderly.
In 1998, in the state of South Australia, robbery with a firearm increased nearly 60 percent. In 1999, new figures reveal that the assault rates in the state of NSW has risen almost 20 percent.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the crime rate for burglary in America is now substantially less than Australia, Canada, and Britain. The data from a comprehensive study from the University of Chicago [Lott, Mustard] showed that in these same three countries, people were home almost half of the time when the burglaries were committed.
Go sell your uninformed opinions somewhere.

mmm gunssss...
They took the Aussies Guns and Balls....
Ive had the ahh ability to shoot LOTS of military weaponry...
MP5 is like a surgical knife in CQB. Hence why most spec ops use it for CQB... If you cant put 15 rounds on a man in his chest at 25 meters you need to stop shooting it and shoot a bb gun...
Ive shot a MG42.. HOLY SHIT... goes through rounds like a dam chain saw.... M60 is much more "fun"
AK well its an AK... My choice if I had to have a gun that works without any cleaning... AK74S is fun.
M16, M4 carbines are nice. the new ones without gas impingment work great nd don't get so dam hot they melt your hand ;) I can field strip one in under 30 seconds.. Not that thats a resume item:stickoutt

I just wish Nick would of saved the 12 gauge slugs for the door. . . . I'm actually off now to buy more magazines as one just doesn't do it for me (Just to rub it in for our Aussie friend). I'd like to pick up a HK45 next but first I need more AR parts Im thinking a new tactical rail hand guard and a sling. The AK74 I take it is basically a AK47 chambered for a smaller cartridge and with a few modern improvements?

Yeahh, I have at least ten mags per gun for non stop shooting. AR stuff is pretty reasonable. Buy a front verticle grip if you have rails on the handguard. Makes shooting even more fun.
AK 74S is the replacement for the AK47. Issued to the Russian Military in the mid seventies. Its funny watching movies with russian troops totting around AK47's when they haven't been using them for years. It shoots a 5.45x39 round much like the AR/M16 rifles 5.56. The AK74 is extremely controlable on full auto, unlike an AK47, its not a light gun like a AR/M gun. They make a "nato" version that shoots 5.56 rounds. The coolest AK74S is the Krinkov short barrelled side folding stock.
They have a HUGE machine gun shoot up in TN you can google it if you want to see some neat full auto guns.. Can't remeber the name of it.

They have a HUGE machine gun shoot up in TN you can google it if you want to see some neat full auto guns.. Can't remeber the name of it.
Thats what I figured it was sounds pretty interesting, the front grip is definitely on the list along with a nice Pelican transport case to fit snuggly in the M5.
