tire ratio

i have 235/40/17 bridgestone S-03 and blew out the right side tire but i was able to find a 235/45/17 would this make that big of a difference or danger the reason is the tires only have 3k on them and this tire i found is brand new

It's almost an inch larger in overall diameter ... not safe at all to do that.

The car will always pull to one side, the ABS will more than likely be confused all to hell by it, and if you run them on the back and have an LSD, that will get destroyed. Not to mention how unpredictable the handling is going to be.
