Will they fit?

So I got a phone call today from a family friend who has a 2005 BMW 328i. She has a set of 17" BMW wheels sitting in her garage that she wants me to take off her hands. Not sure of the style but she said they were on her car once and she took them off after 1 weekend of owning the car and got herself a set of 16"s.

would it be worth taking these off her hands to have a spare set? Would they even fit my 86 635?

I'm currently running 17" BMW wheels off of a 2001 540i.

Thanks, Euroshark. So I read the post from the other E46 wheel question. Does that mean I would need to buy 20mm spacers to make up the difference? I'm not exactly sure how they work. Where would be a good place to get them? Ebay? BavAuto?
