whats the biggest tires i can put on my ds1's?

just bought a e36 m3. i am new to the bmw world to give me a break. what is the widest size i can put on my ds1 wheels on the stock suspension that wont cause any problems? the car currently has the stock size tires of 235's all around.

You can try 245/40R17 but you may need to run a spacer in the front.
