Hey guys, I know of the search button but feel the speakers haven't been covered as to quality. So I'm a new e34 member and just got a touring and pulled all the speakers today. I'd like to run a new setup of speakers only, I have a hu already. I work at a German auto shop and heard a customers e36 hk system and loved it. I realize the rear 6x9's won't fit up top in rear so can I still install the tweeters and 5.25's front and back? Or does hk have 6.5's to?
If I run a 5 channel Amp for the speakers am I set giving it's a 10 speaker system?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

what year e34? 92-93 can do the amp bypass.
5.25 front and rear. custom sized mids and tweeters.
you dont want tweeters in the rear in a touring.
10 speakers requires 10 channels of amplification, not 5. An a/d/s p640 would work for the fronts, and a p440 rear...
You really need to go re-read all those threads you dismissed as non useful, as all the info you just asked for was discussed ad nauseum &ad infinitum therein.

I'm asking about the actual speaker ie: polk audio, rockfordfosgate and so on. Thank you for your input though on the tweeters I noticed the cancelling of the fronts they tend to override. Is ma a good company to go through?
92' I'd like to pull the rear left cabinet to and replace with a 10" subwoofer. Has anyone successfully installed one yet?
