Silver on silver 91 M5. Seller claims the engine has been "rebuilt by a veteran BMW racing Engine Tech and it boasts over 500HP"

I emailed him asking for specs. What does it take to get ~200
more HP out of an S38B36 with out F.I? Lots of money of course but :dunno what else./

True say. The stroker S38 we are building is bored out as far as you can safely go, total displacement is 3.95. We were thinking around 360ish WHP which is 400 - 410 Crank...

You would be surprised with the amount of people that come in for a dyno baseline... "My engine was just built and my engine builder says its 600HP" We almost always chuckle and they ask why... After a dissapointing 250 - 300 WHP run, they get all bent and say they are going to "deal" with their engine builder.

If you don't know, or know what power REALLY feels like, you would believe your car has 500 HP after a performance build etc when a professional trys to make you happy.

Those wheels are lame, and as already stated, Dinan's 3.9 was pushing it and they didn't get near 500hp.
