Seats from a '91 530 to a '90 525

So today I bought the front seats from a guy who was parting a 91 530. They are heated leather seats and my car just has normal leather seats, non heated. To install these new seats is it just a plug-and-play type of thing where the heated seats just work or is there something special or tricky i have to do to get them to work? Any help would be great.

I believe the wiring for heating is integrated into the seat harness that comes with the seat, and just feeds off the main power and ground that all power seats have. So no, nothing special I'm pretty sure.

there was no 530 in 91

I know it was a 530i and the guy said it was either a '91 or '92 but then he agreed that it was a '91. I know nothing of 530is so i just believed him.

In any case, it will work without a problem. The only seats that could cause problem are the driver's side memory seats which require an additional harness, everything else will swap just fine.

Unless it was a Euro import 530i; in which case it has an M30. Else it is a M60B30 V8.
