How to stop car thiefs in Sweden (with force)

Saw this on a Swedish carpage a couple of thiefs in a 1992 Audi 100 on drugs don't want to stop, but they are forced to when a police Volvo XC70 drives on top of it :O

I agree completely but, if the perpetrator is endangering civilian life he should be stopped. If he is injured in the process so be it.

It's more their lack of regard for the law or others. It's not simply that they stole a car. If they were tagged by the police and pulled over voluntarily that would be one thing. But evading arrest and endangering the general public by running is a whole other matter. Beware the consequences that may ensue if you choose to run. Frankly, I think there would be far less crime and more respect for law enforcement if the police were given the authority to kick some serious ass when it was appropriate. Our justice system has been neutered to the point that those with less than stellar morals are free to do whatever the hell they want with the understanding that there's a distinct possibility they'll get away with it uncontested.

And that Vulva held up pretty damn well I might add. Pull it off the Audi and carry on with the rest of your shift. Nice.

I have one experience with a cop driving an e34. I was in Moscow in 1995 and the e34 was leading our motorcade... someone jumped in with us and he proceeded to pull next to the guy, warn him and when he didn't respond... he literally ran him off the road. Absolutely hilarious.

Yes ...it is ALWAYS the thief that determines the price of his OWN life. If a thief thinks my stereo is worth his life ...who am I to argue. Same thing goes for cars as well.

The FAA can tell how much your life is worth. It is 80,000 dollars. So technically his life was more expensive than your radio but he just chose to overpay.
