I'm in need of 8 Michelin PS2's in 235/45-17...

Does anyone have any suggestions on a retailer that might offer a discount with the purchase of that many?

TireRack shows $1603 with shipping. DiscountTireDirect shows $1552.

Talk to a manager at a local Discount Tire. They can be surprisingly flexible, especially if you're buying several relatively high-dollar tires.

I've gotten 20% off a set of tires before, easily.

I'll give them a ring. I don't need them to do the installation, though -- usually Discount likes to sell tires together with mounting and balancing and whatnot.
