and does the block look good this engine was picked up with 62.000 mi on it for turbo build .But 1# piston ring was bad alot of blow by did all the test also ,did not put more then 1 mile on it,rebuild all new piston rings.

This. People have also had great sucess with a VERY light coat of copper spray on both sides of the gasket as well (i am a fan of this as well). What type of condition is the head in? is it REALLLLLY smooth? The key for a solid seal for most people on the MLS gaskets are a REALLLY shiney smooth mating surface. I hope you got the head to a RA of
