Getting ready to replace the run-flats on my 335. It's going to be either PS2's or the all season version, PS2 AS.
Anybody running the PS2 all seasons on this car? We ran Pilot Sport MXXX3 and PS2 tires for 12 years on my E36 M3 and were extremely satisfied except for the very short lifespan and having to avoid any hint of winter weather with the summer tires on.
We are wondering if the AS version wouldn't make more sense, as they last longer and we don't have to turn around at the first frost (we live in SF, but would like to be able to drive up in the mountans in spring and fall without worrying too much.) Living in DC, we had a separate set of winter tires, but it really doesn't make sense in SF unless you are driving into the Sierras in winter all the time.
After reading the reviews, it seems performance is pretty close to the summer-only version, and likely to be way better than the existing stock runflats. We are not "8/10 all the time" type drivers.
Anybody had experience with the PS2 AS that can offer some advice?
