Have a interesting problem. I get a intermittent Anti-lock light
on my car. I need to be ABOVE 92 MPH.
The anti lock works perfect all the time, never a light and flawless
operation. The only time I can get the light to trigger is when I am speeding
very fast. It has done this 3 times now and a I can reset with the ignition key every time.
As I understand the system the sensor watches the rotating peaks and valley
ridges on the hub. If the sensor sees a different rotational speed it will
AND does not sense brake pressure it will trigger the light.

What is the best way to clean these sensors and the ridges?

Brake cleaner and a tooth brush! (maybe one of those brass ones) :D :cool

How to diagnose and inspect the hub teeth:

Yeah, pull off the strut housings and clean them up.

Yea, the fronts are probably good, Taylor didn't have to do much to the abs rings. The rears are usually the problem. No sweat. Find a good car to get them from. e28 5 series are much more common and present the same part. Alot of time they are covered in grease from the cv joints and that helps to preserve them.

I wasted time with a plumbers inner pipe cleaner and pb plaster. If they don't look like what taylor's got, replace them. His look good, and the back should look like that too.
Not to give it away but that was my problem with abs and now it's solved. Mine was coming on at about 70 or so.
