How do you know if a wheel is a replica or not? If it says "bmw" on the back does that mean its not a replica? Also can you use the part number to determine if its oem? Where is it located? Do all wheels have to meet certain criteria to know if they are not replicas? Thanks.

it depends on which type of wheel you are looking at.

Due to copyright infringement issues, I don't think a non-OEM wheel can be stamped "BMW" if it's not licensed as original equipment. However, with counterfeit parts all over the internet, I guess there's no sure fire way to be certain.

it depends on which type of wheel you are looking at.
Say its a ds1 or ltw.
