I drove my mom's '98 Buick Century for my whole high school career that I could drive. Put rims and a sounds system in because that was the cool thing to do at my school. Who could bump the loudest and have the coolest car.

I went to a school where my graduating class was 798 and a lot of these kids were driving brand new audi's, vw, lexus, range rover, stuff like that and I was stuck with teh buick.

Then for like 4 days I got to drive my totally stock e36 to school and I felt awesome inside. lol

But honestly I don't know either. I worked my ass off through high school and didn't have the stuff other kids in my high school. Then again their parents bought all their stuff, and I bought all mine (not saying the OP didn't buy his car) but yeah I'm in college now with a $200 budget every month....and somehow I still get close at the end of the month..but a lot of money goes to gas for my car since I love to drive it:D

There were 3 others an e46 that this stupid ass kid blew up like 4 times and parents bought new motors and transmissions every time, and 2 e9x 3 series that wierdos drove because their parents were loaded and gave it to them.

I was rollin my E36 my senior year, everyone oogled over how dumped it was, until I popped the head gasket and had to drive my Oldsmobile for a month or three.

Clean lookin car though, looks great. Wish I could've afforded an E46 in highschool, once college hits, say bye bye to your money though..

Everyone with a job in highschool should be able to do this. I was because I had no real bills. No cell, no heat, no food, no rent etc. Then you get to college and all that shit needs to be paid for plus the cost of drinking 5 nights a week.

I used to bust my ass during the summer to make enough money to not need a job during the semester. In high school I did the same thing and it paid for my M3.
