Hi,

I just bought an E92 coupe (2009). It was great! Comes with 18 inch wheels (style 197) with Mich Pilots.

Well, it's winter in Vancouver and I don't want to fork out another $3400 for 17 inch winter alloys. So...

I have my 17 inch OEM E36 rims from my old car. Can I fit these on my E92? What should I be thinking of? I recognize the following:

1) Both are 5x120 bolt pattern
2) Is offsets an issue?

Thanks for the help.

Hi
A sales peson @ Brian Jessel BMW told me E36 rims will fit a E90, which should be the same as a E92. Ask your BMW dealer, try fitting them.

just bolt them up and rotate them slowly while the car if off the ground. If everything clears then you should be fine! if offset looks like it could be an issue then just careful when you lower it

Not sure if brakes are an issue.

Best way to see is to bolt them up.

I don't think the hubs are the same diameter. Maybe I'm wrong.

All BMW Hubs but the E39 are the same size.
