as per my rear subframe mount thread located here (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1347102), I tentatively plan on replacing the parts this coming weekend with the assistance of a couple other bimmerheads

I read on bmwe34.net (http://www.bmwe34.net/Wiki/tiki-index.php?page=Subframe+bushings) that I require a specialty bushing removal tool for the job, some type of bmw-specific tool that costs approximately $400

the tool in question can be found a couple of different places on the internet, namely on pelican (http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/BMWM/POR_BMWM_TOOLS1_pg2.htm) (PEL-TOL-3026) for $394 and sir tools (http://www.samstagsales.com/sirtools.htm#bmw) (BMW 3026) for $469

after a little deeper research and a very helpful thread (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1158856) by Manuel, I found that you can rent a similar removal tool at autozone, the topmost item depicted here (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/inourstores/lat/latLanding.jsp?bodyContent=pullersUniversal)

before I stop by autozone and rent the above listed tool, I was hoping someone might have either the bmw or sir tools removal tool to rent me for this weekend's project

I would be more than willing to pay a couple-hundred dollar security deposit to ensure the lender receives the item back, I just really want the right tool for the job

CLIFFS: looking to rent rear subframe pusher/puller tool for this weekend, will pay security deposit. please PM me if interested
