I am told these wheels came off a 740 or an Alpina. I do know the rims are 16X8" and I was told the offset was ET23.

I tried to have my current tires (225/50 16) mounted on these rims. The fronts were fine but the rears would rub everytime I made a turn or there was a bump in the road. My current rims are stock 16X7". The mechanic who did the work said 740 rims were pushing my sidewalls out.

I am willing to have the fenders rolled if necessary. I wonder what size tires would fit under the car and still look good.

Please advise me as to what I have to do to make them fit?

if these are et23 215 still might barely rub in the rear if you have stock suspension..

riffman i can't find a pic of your car straight from the back.. can you send me one?
