Hey,
I just picked up a set of BBS RSii wheels. they are RS713. Anyone have an idea of the centerbore on these wheels? I know they're et15, 5X120, but i just want to make sure i dont need a hubcentric ring to use them on my e36.
Thanks,
Brian

If they came off a BMW then they would have to be 72.5 unless they are 74.1 off an E39.
Try them on, you should be able to see if it fits right.
Get your calipers out so you can tell for sure.

Ok, thanks. That's the reassurance I wanted.
now, is et15 going to look really goofy? Does anyone have some pictures of e36 with similar offset wheels? I'm lowered on koni SAs and H&R race, so I'm thinking i may do a very modest stretch for fitment. my fenders are already rolled. thinking like a 205 or 215 on them with either 40 or 45 series sidewall.

The 15mm offset is for a 5 Series and they are going to stick out. They also may be drilled for an E39 and in that case you will need a centering ring.

I'm guessing they are 8 inches wide. So it will be very close to flush, just poking out 5mm or so in the rear. The front may look a bit more poked, because the car starts to curve in about half way in the fender. Hope that makes since. Another thing you will see when you do a test fit.
Just a guess, but I would think 215 or 205/40 would be fine. I know thats what the Style 5 guys do and this wheel is close in specs, just a hair less offset.

Yes, they're 17X8.
I've tried looking into this with mixed results. I've yet to call my machine shop. What about milling the hubs of the wheels to change offset and move them closer in? How much material is required on the hub(thickness) for safe mounting? I'm looking at milling maybe 5 to 7 mm off.

I know that people do that. I wouldn't want to mess with it. Just looking at a set of wheels I have in front of me there is about 7mm of wheel from the lug to the hub. I would just stretch the tires to make up for that poke.
