I just had a new steering angle sensor installed at my local Indy and they cannot recalibrate it. They say they called local dealer and it needs to be coded to car. Does anyone know if this is true? This was supposed to be the fixit after ABS module rebuild and still a steering angle failure code. Rebuilt module solved other problems but still this code kept faulting.

Always try to recalibrate SAS first before replacing, same thing when you replace abs/dsc unit, code the unit and recalibrate SAS, if you change SAS-recode and recalibrate.
