Question about interchangability of heads

I just aquired an 85 535i with minmal rust (compared to the 6 anyway) with a non destroyed interior and working electronics that I'm told has a flat cam and needs rockers by the shop that did the last maintence on the car.

I have a rusty falling apart 84 633 csi with a trunk that doesn't latch and a destroyed interior with no working electronics(sun roof doesn't even work) but has a freshly rebuilt head. can I take that head and just swap it onto my 535? If I remember correctly it said 3.2/3.5 on the head.

Yes, you can do this. Same head casting and same cam.

I hate to crush a 6 series, but at least I can use most of the parts I put on the 6 on the 5. My 6 could be saved if I had lot and lots of money to fix all the problems.
