e39 wheel fitment

Please Help?Will wheels with a +40 offset fit the front of my E39 with or with out spacers?:help

Will not fit without spacers, offset is too high.
You'll need a hubcentric spacer, either 20 or 25mm depending on width of the wheel and how u want it sitting looks wise. You would also need the approriate longer wheel bolts

And they would have to be E39 hub specific.

They are correct. Make sure whatever you do make sure the wheels end up hub centric.
