EDIT: SOLD. Special thanks to buyer who was efficient, cooperative, asked the right questions, and didn't waste any time. Model citizen.

As title states.

4 (four) un-bent, zero curb rash of any sort, Ronal R10 Turbo wheels.

5x120mm bolt pattern, ET12 or 18 (have to check), 15"x7". Originally designed for an E24 or E28 but can be used on other cars. I do know that it will not clear the front brakes on an E36 M3, but should fit other E36 chassis as long as big brakes are not present and other 5x120 bolt pattern hubs.

Wheels have been chemically stripped of the failure prone clearcoat and black coating on the wheel faces and surfaced by a local shop and are ready for paint or polish. Can be painted or powdercoated or polished. I was going to have the wheels refinished in a bright silver to mimic the Ronal / Zender Turbo style wheels used on BMW race cars in the 80s. It is up to the buyer now as project is gone.

I sprayed one wheel with a self-etching primer to test adhesion, and it is excellent. The hard and laborious part is done, and only need to be finished to preference. Think of them as a blank canvas

Someone good with paint could have these wheels looking new in one day.

You will not be disappointed, these are ultra-rare and deserve a good home and will be a great discussion piece at any gathering.

Located in SE Michigan. Email with questions.

Also listed in wheel forum with a photo, but thought since it's E24/E28 purpose built I would list here too.

Good luck with the sale, they arent the first choice by many, but from what i hear they are very very light, would be good for an autocross set of wheels?

That is the ugliest wheel I think I have ever seen.

And coming from a guy who drives a 6 series, the sight of which I'm sure prompts some people to think "That is the ugliest car I think I have ever seen."
:)

Thanks -
They are extremely light, yes. And supposedly strong? But I have no firsthand experiences driving on them.

They would be good for whatever - the rarity makes them fun though. Someone will surely appreciate what it is.

hrmm, not sure that's the best way to sell anything in the e24 section...

Why not? I didn't say that's what I think, because' it's not what I think. It was just illustrating that opinions are present.

Either way - those who are really interested won't care what the seller thinks about their car and how it looks. That's just silly.

These wheels seem to be making a come back. Just a few years ago people couldn't get rid of them, but I notice them showing up on more cars now. What's old is new again. Personally not my style, but good luck with them.

I don't see the 6 as ugly, the styling is why I choose to drive it.

They're definitely not everybody's cup of tea. I think it helps if you have memories of them or the like on race cars back in the day. I'm not generally a fan of flush/flat wheels, but I certainly associate them in my head with some badass race cars in the 80's, and on a well setup early 5/6 they really do have a nicer stance to them than you might think. Must say I'm a bit tempted.

They are definitely interesting wheels. If i was in a position to buy strange and rare wheels, id be all over them to see what i could make of them. Being prepped for whatever finish you would like, the possibilities are endless.

First thing that came to mind for me was a 2002tii, dropped, and bumpers deleted with those wheels in silver paint...

I love those wheels. Had a set on my e28 7/8 years ago. They are not lighter nor any stronger than the average cast aluminum wheel.

If they were 4-bolt e30 fit I'd consider them. Not the type of thing I want for the sixer or the five.
