FS: 95 540i parts

My daughter wrecked the 540i I converted to 6 speed earlier this year. The 6 speed drive train has gone to a 94 530it I am finishing up in my current project. The rest of the car can be picked apart. It has light grey interior.

The 530it came to my house on a flat bed. It has no engine. But it came with an auto transmission and everything behind it which has been removed. The auto transmission is sold.

The driver side front seat needs to be cleaned up. The passenger side looks very good. The color is light grey.

And whats the age/your price on the alternator. And possibly the belt too.

The alternator has gone to the 530it so it is not available. I have extra belts you may have one for $15 shipped.

As far as changing the alternator on the M60. It is a PITA as you know. Having done it a few times I think the most painless way is to remove the PS pump pulley and drop it to the floor.

Yep, D, is right.. here are the 2 things left I am looking for at the moment.
- Topmost vents/grills (should be 3 total) from a black dash - no broken tabs please and the center vent has to have the red blinking light (or hole for it) for the later model security system alarm (non-alpine system).
- Rear seat belt plastic trim that is the surround piece in the bottom seat. There should be 2 pieces, one for each side in black. I don't need the buckle that sits inside of it, just the plastic surround. They are $20 new for both total.

No I meant did you put them on the 540i, they were a 94 only thing and your 540 is a 95 so they're not stock

Sorry I was mistaken. I meant the alternator air duct has gone to the 530it. Yes you are correct. No brake ducts on the 530it now I remember.

The ps pump, radiator stay. Only the pulley of the ps pump goes. You need to loosen the oil filter housing to get to one bolt on the alternator. The fan goes. You may need to remove the tensiner but that is easy.

My dash is grey so that's out. I may have the seat belt surrounds but I wasn't paying attention yanking the seat cushion. Will have to look.

I have no knowledge of a 535 so I don't know if it will work. The front bumper went to my 525i and was damaged in a parking collision which I subsequently replaced so no front bumper. The rest of the stuff you may have it it works. I am in East Brunswick.

In that case it is no go. My 525i hood was dull. I chucked it in favor of the 540i hood already.

Yes. The washer fluid reservoir is good except I pulled the pump as that on the 530it was bad. You may have the reservoir for $30 plus shipping.

Front bumper was intact. It went to my 525i because the 525i bumper has a crack. The bumper was then damaged with the car being hit parked in front of my house, which I replaced again.

In any case it is not available.
