E38 Transmission issues

Has anyone out there had this issue with the transmission.
When at low RPM'S in 5th gear it feels like the torque converter is locking up and then unlocking, (in others words kicking in and out).
Have replaced the kickdown switch, no affect.

No trans codes, no codes at all

need all the help i can get.

When was the fluid last changed... how many miles on it....

You need a GT1. Sometimes codes are stored...and not read by a aftermarket device.

You may have a "lockup" solenoid error.

I would do a BG flush and go from there

It has 126,000 miles, never had the fluid changed.

I will have it looked at by a pro. Just hoping its not a major rebuild.
