This is a stock car track that was close in last three years, vandalism, etc.. so we will make a dragstrip 1/8miles, drift and time attack circuit. We will open doors next summer.
The car was not aligned and power steering is not working fine, when revving past 3000rpm, the steering seem to block and is very difficult to turn, anyone have ever seen that and yes i have oil.
The welded diff is not so fun in the street but when going on the race track, i forgot all that and enjoyed it so much !!!!!!!!!

the thing that looks to be nice about drifting the 540 is that there is plenty of weight to shift around before the turn to get the car loose to initate a drift, and that weight seems like it holds it in the drift nicely.
good skillz man, also, you are very good at right hand turn drifts, thats always been a challenge for me, but i think its all mental...
how does it transition in drifts? this is where that much weight in a car would scare me; that it might over transition from drift to drift. correct me if i am wrong on that assumtion.
good luck with your track, that facility will surely have some good times in it and put alot of smiles on some attendee's faces.
cheers

I cannot drift with transition because the track is not well suited for now but next year we will enlarge to 60 feet the entry of the pits so we can make a good drift circuit. I have never drift a light car so i don't know if it can initiate easier but i don't think so, my car is not aligned, i don't have a sway bar in the rear so the car tend to understeer and like i told i have problems with my power steering, some cheap rubber in front.
The car is not completed so i would imagine that the car with some very good tire in front, aligned and a decent sway bar in the rear, and with a 400HP LS1 it would be a lot better !!!!!
This winter i will finish to built this car or built another one just for drift
The track will open at mid of July of next year and if you come to see us, you will be welcome and you could sleep a couple days directly on the site, i will keep you updated when my website will be completed.
