I have an 01, shorty, and I can retrofit heated seats in mine, mine has a semi black interior (black carpet grey rest of it), I'll retrofit black everything, already got widescreen...bbbut....

It has 90K on it....and it's silver...awww....shucks. :(

Mine came with the rear heated. I did not know it was not widely available in a 01 model.

Now if we were talking rear seat cooling, OK! Heating, not really needed in Texas.....IMHO! ' same as boobies on a bore hog - not really needed either.:nono

Audiavan, a special thanks for the links. The first link was near perfect, it just does not specify the seat detail, not a dealbreaker (we can install them).

I agree it's touch to find the heated seat option on a shorty. Makes feel worse since mine had it. Anyway, I'm being patient and will find the ideal one soon.

I'll be sure to share with ya' then. I'm very comfortable with a 100K car with some sort of records or upkeep done :)

all but the heated seats on this one - any feedback everyone? I think it looks great. salesman says it needs a new set of tires but the body is is clean and the interior is solid.

i have a 2001 740i Sport with rear heated seats, True Sport. Black on Black,not jet black though its cosmoschwarzmetallic. its got 124k on it... greatttt shape...and just did cooling and front end suspension.
