After taking it in today for the usual 100k maintenance, I am having second thoughts about whether I want to move forward with this car or just get something else for the time being. PM me if you like to discuss further. I really love the car, but the wife is also in need of a new car soon, so I am thinking it might have to go to a new home. We are leaning towards a 135i as I hope to keep the BMW spirit within the family.

The color is Arctic Silver, which does have a hint of blue in it compared to Ti Silver.

Price is 18k. I would also be willing to sell for 15k without the BBS wheels if buyer wants to provide their own.

Here are the specs of the S3 Package:

1996 Dinan S3 M3 with 109k miles (Currently my DD)

-Full Dinan Serial Numbered S3 Package including the following:
- Vortech Supercharger (340 hp/307 tq)
- Dinan High Flow Throttle Body
- Dinan Performance Engine Software
- Dinan Free Flow Exhaust
- Dinan Strut Tower Brace
- Dinan Shock Tower Brace
- Dinan Stage 3 Suspension including (Koni Adjustable Struts and Shocks, Performance Springs, Adjustable 22mm Front and Rear Sway Bars, Front Camber Plates)
- Dinan Signature Floor Mats

Also have ZKW Headlights with 6k HID's installed from Umnitza and LED angel eyes.

The car is flawless. I spent many months looking for a clean E36, and while most said they had "clean" cars, i would go check them out only to find out otherwise. I just spent 2k on maintenance on this car this week, the typical rear trailing arm bushings, all fluids flushed, new motor mounts, new trans mount, etc. The car is ready to be driven for a long time to come. If someone if really interested I can show them all this in detail. The car was originally bought by a VP at Oracle in Germany, and then he put all the Dinan goodies on it. You will not find another E36 out there so clean looking, with all the performance and goodies on the inside. Truly one of a kind.

In addition, I really don't want to sell, I have only had this car for 4 months, but I know that the family needs something newer so this fun toy is going to have to go to a new, well deserved home.

I remembered this car back when you first got it. Such a clean car to let go after a such a short time. It's beautiful, I'd definitely hang onto it if I were you.

I definitely want to hang on to the car, as I love the E36. This is my 2nd. I also guarantee that this is one of the cleanest examples of an E36 out there. I spent quite some time looking for my 2nd, and after looking at tons of cars that people claimed were in superb condition, I found this one. The only reason I am thinking of selling, is that my wife and I both have cars with high mileage, so we are thinking we might need to get something with less mileage in the near future. The price is 18k. If anyone is in or around the San Jose area and wants to take a look, let me know. You will not be disappointed.

This is a very clean car.

However your price is quite high. That's pretty much e46 m3 territory.

It's not just a Dinan S/C car. It is a full S3 Package. The BBS wheels don't hurt as well. I am somewhat flexible on price, but I don't think it is priced unreasonably.

So was this one, and had 1/5 the miles this one does. Immaculate inside and out. Sold for about 3k more.

Actually the car posted above didn't have the complete Stage 3 suspension upgrade from the looks of his mods list. Still has a lot of nice mods to boot.

I don't think that boston green one was a full serial-numbered S3, and it was green.

I personally don't mind BG, but silver is an easier color to sell.

This one is sitting on $3-4K worth of wheels as well.

so clean...don't get rid of it. 100k on these cars is not that high and it seems as though you've kept it well maintained. I'd say you might regret it later after the initial hassle of selling it and then trying to find a car for yourself and your wife with lower mileage.

People saying the car is overpriced are just the kids with 180k mile E36's with shot bushings.
