i have a 98 323 and when i turn the car off the front fan doesnt shut off.

so im guessing its a heat sensor somewhere or its grounded out, so what im asking is where are the heat sensors for the front fan and or where would it ground out at?

please help.

The switch on the side of the radiator (passenger) controls the electric fan. It is an easy replacement. The only thing is that i thought power was cut to the fan when the key was removed.
