Yeah, its fine. Sorry I didn't get back to you. I was in class. Congrats, the 3.73 makes a world of difference. Just clean it with some Simple green or engine degreaser, drain and refill it with new fluid.

What he said. I'd also paint any exposed steel (aluminium rear cover's fine) to keep it from rusting more.
525i's had smaller axle flanges, so you'll need to use yours.

Oh yeah, that's right. Just take a big screwdriver and pop of the side flanges and replace them with your old ones..

word word... thanks again guys
Stirfryalot.. Harmonic Balancer behind the flex disc...
Harmonic Balancer... Think this will balance out the driveshaft a bit more or what? I haven't seen these on parts cars or current cars.. only through maximillian. So this can be considered a rare item.....

So today i was in the process of removing the diff from the donor car... no i didn't remove it cause of the axles.. should i remove the 13mm bolts from the diff side or the wheel side...
Differential side.. Note the rust..ill

Wheel side..

Now I spoke with my trusty Bmw mech and he stated to remove the sub frame a little so the axles can pop right out..
Any insightful help would be appreciated.. thanks guys/gals

Holy crap that looks nasty.
Diffs are best removed by lifting the whole rear end, undoing the bolts on the axle flanges, swinging the wheel-ends of the axles out, and popping them out of the diff with flanges still attached. Fewer things to unbolt and more wiggle room for the diff. You won't be using those axles or flanges anyway.
13mm bolts? No, they're 8 or 10mm round hex bolts. The 13mm ones on the diff hold the side bearings in - nothing worth messing with for removal, certainly.
PB Blaster will be your best friend for this job.
