Really Quick Question

Dinan sells Schrick Intake Manifolds for 96-99 M3s. Is a Schrick Intake Manifold the same as an OBD-I Intake Manifold?

Quick answer: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE SCHRICK INTAKE MANIFOLD!!!

Schrick makes their own intake mani. However, people that have done a bit of flow testing found that the OBD I mani had better flow than the Shrick, and the OBD I mani is WAY cheaper.

Don't get a OBD I mani (or Schrich) unless you do some decent mods like cams. You will loose a lot of low end and not gain much high. resulting in a slower car. If you do cams, headers, etc. it will benefit you. The OBD I mani is the last thing i did and I picked up 14 RWHP on two seperate dynos. Proof positive it works. Tim
