Yeah, the difference on the two you asked about is that one is a S5 Silhouette: has wide body flares and runs wider wheels as well as a wide, front and rear valence. The other is an S5: normal body, with narrow aero kit. There is more but that is the basic differences that will help you notice one over the other. Both are equally desirable.

The farther your tires sizes are from stock, the more your speedometer will be off (thus either needing calibration or you live with it).

where would I get something like that done, how much do they cost?

my stocks were what, 15" I believe. The ones I have now, are 18". So maybe thats an issue.

Its not the rim size, it depends on the crcumfrance of the tire tread. If th crcumfrance is the same between the 15 and the 18 then you would be good and your speedo would be right on. I have the stock 15's on min and my speedo says like 4mph faster than I am actually going.

It was in SoCal in Glamis state park. I shattered my clutch in the jeep the night before I took this pic. When I took this pic I had just got the jeep and I had sold the Explorer to a kid in the Eplorer club I belong too. It was kinda a reunion meet hehe.

I miss that Explorer so much. I put 30k miles on that thing in a year and a half and 6 months of that time the truck was parked being built and repaired in my driveway.

The shop I kept her at and worked on her at went under. I kept her at home for a few months until I moved to europe and couldnt keep her. I know where she is at and the new owner hasnt done anything to her since he bought her.

That little Benz does the opposite of inspiring my love for cars. Not an AMG fan. It reminds me that usually the drivers of those little mercedes typically are 75 year old women who sit so close to the steering wheel that the airbag deployment would surely kill them, and they usually have hair that now has a blue tint to it because it has been dyed so many times.

I wish it was mine but its my best friend/ roommates 8series. He has had it since '04 and what a bmw it is and Im honored to see it everyday :redspot

Hell yeah it is. Gotta love being able to go flat out as fast as your rig will alow you to go. My explorer would do 70mph through a wash bed like I was in a caddy over speedmumps lol.:buttrock

Nice. We were doing about a 100 through the whoops section in my buddys f-150 prerunner. But the best fun for me is 5th gear jumps on my dirtbike.

Yeah my explorer wouldn't go ay faster than 70 and if it did it would have had some problems probably sence I had mono shocks on it without resivoirs.:nono
