Does anybody know anything about the rear speakers in a e36 convertible? i have just looked at them, haven't taken them out at all. from the outside they look like just 4" speakers. is that what they are? what all does someone have to do to get them out? all the other cars i've had you could just unscrew the speakers from. since this one is a beemer, i figured there has to be some sort of trick to it, hence the reason they look so good in place. the reason i want to replace them is because the right rear speaker is going out. plus i have 2 4" pioneer speakers that ought to fit just fine.
