Well, after a few months with the UUC TSE, I realized it was just too loud (but sounded bad ass) for my daily driving. I ordered up the ANSA exhaust and got the wrong one. Paul at ANSA TOTALLY hooked me up and took care of getting me the right one. My impressions, ahhhhh no more noise all the time.. It sounds great and was a hell of a bargin. The tips look awsome and the sound is a great compramise between stock and the UUC.

So, now that I had a spare UUC TSE exhaust laying around, what ever was I to do with it? Sell it? Hmmm, well Paolo (slvr328is) and I have been talking about his MOMO streetracer seats for a while and low and behold he wanted the tse. So, tonight I drove down and traded him the TSE and some cash and drove home with some bad ass seats for autocrossing. Thanks Paolo!!!

Now I just need to get my GC suspension and I will be a force at the next autocross..

One question, does anyone have a spare plug for the occupant sensor so I can build the sensor simulator that Jim Powell has on his website?

Thanks,

Mike

Does anyone know the torx bit size to get the seatbelt bracket off the seat?

It's a big one, I believe a T50.

Be careful not to strip the bolt.

Thanks, I actually just went to home depot and bought a set of 3/8" torx bits that went up to a 50... I really hope its big enough as they were freakin expensive.

I'd hang on to your TSE. I've had a couple ANSA's on my old 2002 and they both did not last very long. That was a long time ago, maybe they are better now.

Yah, that seems to be the word on the street. If it requires replacement in the future, I will probably just pick up a stock exhaust and be done with it... The UUC was too much for my old ass... Funny thing is, as the ANSA is starting to break in, it is getting deeper and deeper... It also has started "Farting" when you start the car. Kind of weird, I hope it goes away.. All in all, the quality seems to be equivalant to the stock system (they almost look the same too).. I am happy so far.

Hey Mike,

I hope you are enjoying the seats. I am still sad that I let them go. :( But I am loving the exhaust! Let me know once you get your suspension and and seats in. I would love to see the car in action at auto-x.

Later
