So, alarm, locks, and windows had been working just fine until the other morning.

Arming/disarming alarm will not lock/unlock the locks, although it sounds like at least some of the actuators are working. Also, if I arm the alarm, lock the door manually, and then disarm/manually unlock, the windows and sunroof will not work after starting the car unless I shut the motor off and "reset" the ignition back to the "on" position.

First question: Are the other three lock actuators triggered only from the driver's door?

Second question: How are the windows and sunroof tied to the door locks/alarm?

you check the fusible link?

you check the fusible link?

I didn't think that would be the issue since the windows and sunroof work if I turn the ignition off and then on again.

I had an issue on the way home from work the other day. All windows stopped working, sunroof wouldn't work, central locking wouldn't work - but the radio did. Checked fusible links and they were ok. I pulled and reseated all fuses and relays and... everything worked again.

I have seen this in BMW 850s where just by cleaning the contacts it creates a circuit again. One particular case a guy had an 850 in limp home mode and it was a fuel pump relay that just needed to be pulled and reseated. Imagine how much that would have cost to fix/diagnose at a stealer or mechanic... Very strange but about the cheapest fix you could hope for.

In my case, it was one of the fuses under the rear seat - not sure which one but there are only a few. Try that, can only do good anyway...

So just to revisit this again, I still can't figure out:

-if the driver's doorlock actuator is not working, will the other doors not lock/unlock as well?

-why if I manually lock/unlock the driver's door, the sunroof and power windows will not work until I turn the ignition on and off twice.
