On saturday's i work at for my mechanic at his shop. Today near the end of the day he was washing his heavy modded Yamaha R1 special edition. Thought it would be nice to take couple pics of it with my car (dirty). They are not great pics at all but oh well here they are...

thanks man that means a lot. I also really like your car. I wish i had an alpine e34 because they look awesome and also they are not as sensitive as black cars. Also yours is so tastefully done.

Ha, I wish I had Cosmos. Cosmos is so awesome and it's pretty uncommon. Beyerns get a lot of hate but they're nice in the low-offset 18". :cool Do you have any upcoming mod ideas? I'd look into shadowline window trim if it were my car.

Thanks for the complements.

I love cosmos but its such a pest to keep clean. I get so paranoid with it that i sometimes wish for a white car now. I like my bayerns but i'm thinking of trying something new and ditching them later. My front wheels are in good shape but my rear wheels has some pitting on the dish so that drives me crazy. As for upcoming mod's i'm not sure.. I wanted to buy an older jeep cherokee 4.0 5 speed for the winter but i cant seem to find the right one but its not a huge concern because i always have another car to take for winter anyways. I never really looking far into doing a shadow line because i kind of like the chrome trim. I know when my car is in the garage for winter i will be powdercoating the valve covers. I was thinking of a 5-speed swap. I can find tons of them for great deals but i cant find a flywheel to come with them, and i really dont want to buy a new flywheel. Looking far ahead i plan to do a m62 swap with a 5-speed.

Get a room you too.

Car's looking good though! You should throw on some euro trim.

thanks for the comments guys. Yes Mike i know i have to even up the profile. It does look bad when your looking at the car from the side. I've been trying to look for a ACS front valence but its hard to find one, let alone one that i can afford. I was thinking about getting a bavauto DTM lip how do you think that would look? i saw one in the catalogue for a silver e34 and it looks really good. The example they show on the webside is on a red e34 and it doesn't look at good. So i really wonder how it would do with my black and my acs rear valence...

the dtm one wouldnt look terrible so long as you dont get the one with the silver mesh inserts...a rieger lip would probably be the best imo

definitely not the one with the mesh. The silver e34 in the catalogue looks really really good with it. Thats what caught my interest. My opions are Front ACS if i can find it, BavAuto DTM lip, maybe an M5 bumper. I havent been too interested in rieger for some reason. Its a great looking lip but it doesn't suit my car in my opinion. I really wanted to work on a sound system this winter but a lot of things come in the way of me spoiling my car... oh well

just another pic to add that i took while coming home

if you can find an M5 front bumper that would def be the way to go...but the fact that you can get the dtm lip for much less and much much easier thats what id go for out of your options

exactly. I know a guy that has a bmw shop. I have to talk to him to see if he has any front bumpers or valences for cheap. I bought my acs rear valence for $70 off him. It had a rectangle out of it but my body shop guys fixed it up really good. otherwise here the example out of the catalogue. Excuse the picture of a picture. My scanner is fubar'd

You could just do the OEM bumper cut-out lip, they are extremely easy to find and cheap. I don't think that looks too bad as long as it's painted correctly. IDK why but I've never really liked the DTM lip, I think and aggressive looking E34 could pull it off. Yours looks more classy.

I've never really been a fan of that lip. I dont think i could pull it off. If it was on another colour i guess it would be okay. The only car i saw that i really liked it on what offthewall's because it was painted black compared to his car colour orange/red?
