This is a bit of a mixed post, been browsing the site for a while now and thought it was time for a first post.
Bought my '95 Hellrot M3 coupe a few months ago, pretty clean apart from faded paint in areas with 82,000miles on the clock.
Fast forward a few months, heavy rain, greasy road, heavy right foot induced lovely slide which ended all to suddenly with an impact into a wall...............nice! Brings me to my question, been looking at replacement hoods and have been thinking carbon GTR, personally im not normally a fan of exposed carbon but i think the current BMW trend of carbon roofs has turned my head slightly, then i stumbled upon the e36 CSL style carbon trunk (anyone got 1 fitted? pics?), i think you can see where im going with this one, hood-trunk-roof all black, anyone with pics of similar i would appreciate to give me the overall perspective.
I know im probably gonna get a lot of resistance on this one, it definitely will either be a love it or hate it thread, all opinions are welcome.

it could all work if you have the right look

I think the roof and hood would look good....idk about the trunk though ive never been a fan of carbon trunks

Dont seem to be able to post attachments..................maybe because im new? Pre-accident condition was pretty standard M3 besides some black multispoke rims. When i bought the car it was colour coded to the max! Red rubbing strips, side markers, etc...... Pretty much everything that should be black was red! Sorted that out pretty quickly and was happy, until now. After the accident i have replaced all front suspension, bushes, arms, links, shocks, didnt want to take any chances with damaged parts, so at the moment its sittin minus front bumper, pass side fender and hood in a state of semi-rebuild awaiting parts.
If someone knows how i can post pics let me know, thanks.

I'd be interested to see how this final project turns out, if you decide to do it.

You have to have 15 posts, to post up pics. Off topic posts dont count.. just go to the "rides" section and compliment on some people's cars... maybe post a few comments in the "kills" section... pretty sure that one counts posts... Sorry to hear about your accident but at least you're getting the change to put her back together!
