Someone has done it and written it up. It's out there, or check the for sale thread and ask them.

I believe they slide off, but I have never needed to remove ours. Good luck.

Give it a good slap towards the door. There are no fasteners

TBH, I don't remember which way to slap. But they do just slide on and off, sideways. IIRC you may have to pull a small trim piece to get it to clear the leather nicely.
