Internal heating prob. in 89´ E34 520i

I have a 89´ E34 520i with left/right separate internal heating (you can set the temperature between 22 and 26 C separate in the left and right side - I dont think it´s a aircondition - it´s more of a temperature setting).

The problem is that it wont heat at all in the driver side and only heat in the passenger side when all the air is directed towards the windscreen.

Any ideas what could be wrong??

Is it still blowing air on the drivers side?

Yep the air fan is duing fine in both sides

Is there a dial between the center vents, the two right above the radio etc. that selects between hot and cold? If you confirm that is good I'd look at your heater valves.
