1. feed "ramair" cold air to factory airbox
2. new cone air filter in tube "airbox" fed by "ramair" tube

wondering about this...
not thinkin "ramair" in terms of ooodles of "raming" power :az: but more for the cold out side air aspect of it...

would a fat k&N filter in a tube style "airbox" be better then juz "ramair" feeding factory box?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Just get an intake by DInan, ECIS, AA, or the likes.

I think he wants to route air from the front bumper grill to his stock airbox.

Go to home depot, pick up a flex hose, run it to the airbox, cut a hole in the box, replace the filter with a cone filter, pray you don't suck in any water.;)

I think the airbox on my e34 540 is designed is pretty good. It has a tube that takes air in from right below the headlights that goes to the airbox.

It must work fairly well since there have been reports of people "losing" HP from aftermarket CAI's with the e34.

ok i realy do have mad art skills but this was a REAL quicky.. lol

To the LEFT; factory airbox with air "snorkle"

To the RIGHT; PVC cone filter airbox that i would build... similar to the roar system..

basicly should i not waste my time with a cone filter and new "airbox" tube thingy and just feed some cold air to my factory setup...
