Bmw M3 Gt2???

I saw a picture in this month's Total BMW magazine of a red E36 M3 with red leather/black suede vaders in it. The magazine said it was an M3 gt2.I think I read an article a while back about this car, but I can't remember what magazine it was in. Anyone know anything about this car or know anyone with one? I'd love to see pics, especially of the interior.

It was supposedly a GT, not sure where you came up with the "2". That was a Euro only model, every other one I've seen was green.

I think he's referring to the very limited production of cars...I think 50, that were produced with the Imola/suede color combo. Here's a web site about it: http://www.m3imola.freeservers.com/

no bimmer95, he's right. I saw the same thing in an article when i was in germany. There is a GT2. The car was a 99 I want to say and it was red. They made them in germany and for some reason the number 40 keeps coming to my head ( being the number that were produced). There is a BMW M3 GT2, no lie.

That's cool, I just couldn't find any info on that one. The interior color combo was cool (black/red) :)

i believe its an aussie thing. some guy by the name of nico had one, he called it an anniversary edition. the car was a '99, Imola Red, S50 B32 Euro, RHD, but his was a vert IIRC. :dunno:

no... i know what you're thinking about. He had an individual, but it wasnt a GT. It was jsut sorta customed out to him ( bmw did that for the E36 for europeans reguarly back in the day)

This is the same thing as the BMW M3 GT in british green, except it was to commerate the end of the E36 line and was done in a bad ass red/black combo
