hey guys, i'm having a problem with my 528i. it was hit a while ago in the left front wheel on Garden State Parkway going about 50 mph. the handling and alignment was all messed up so i sent it to my mechanic. he replaced the left front control arm and realigned the wheel. i just got my car back and whenever i make a left turn (since my left wheel was hit) and accelerate a little, it makes a kind of grinding noise. also sometime when i press the brakes, it makes the same noise. any help?

the problem is, i have to go to a mechanic that the person who hit me insurance tells me to because they're paying for it...

No. Get your insurance involved. If they hit YOU it is THEIR fault and you choose what shop to go to. Call your insurance company, then call Gumbi :)
