!
Why?
What is there to hide?
Where in Germany are the FK's made?
Does FK have some agreement with Koni to use their struts/shocks?

Nothing to hide guy, we have made numerous attempts to get them from FK, but they have not released them. Just so you guys know, even H&R dosent release their rate either. No idea why, but if we are able to get them I will be sure to let you guys know ASAP!
They are made at the following address:
FK automotive holding company GmbH
Kuchengrund 10 - D-71522 Backnang
FK does work hand in hand with Koni yes.

Hey, maybe just a little! Thanks for the support! These do in fact work with SLS.
This is what FK say about their SLS coilovers "Front axle dampening adjustment while on vehicle. Rear axle pneumatic air suspension remains. Rear axle Koni shock absorber delivered."

The reason pricing was not posted here, is this is an informative thread, just letting you guys know that these are available! A path to our sales thread with complete information and pricing may be found here:

Actually...
I know what the H&R coil-over spring rates are...
They are 325 fronts, and 205 rears.
H&R had no problem giving me that information.
Also, I emailed FK headquarters a while back...
Here is the reply:
Hello!
You can use also the highsport kit ( not adjustable in the hardness )
That is a strong kit , but not adjustable in the hardness and confortable.
Its a coilover and inox fabrication, coilover are normally ever strong and sportive.
But i think ist better when you contact directly with ECS Tuning, he is our distributor in the USA and he can explain you the difference of the parts.
The coilovers of KW is similar, but the quality is not so good that FK
We prove the coilovers directly in our company, we mount and prove it directly here.
But contact with ECS, he is our best dealer in the USA and can help you in all the inquirys

Betreff: FK coil overs
Dear Sir,
I am interested in your FK Silveline X coil over set for my 2001 E39 525i BMW.
I am needing a suspension that is comfortable while giving good performance.
My car is a daily driver, and I have not tracked my car.
Here is a link to the FK Silverline X's:
http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E39-530i-M54_3.0l/Suspension/Coil_Overs/ES248316/
I am also looking at the KW coil overs as well.
How do the FK's compare?
I would like to know who makes your springs, and what are the spring rates?
Does Koni USA manufacture your struts and shocks?
Do have any people with experience on these FK Silverline X coil-overs on a BMW or E39?
Thank you for your help!
Jason

I'm torn between the FK's and some JIC Magics.
FK is wining because they are $900 cheaper!
Joe, for the 955 calipers you sell to the VW guys, what pad do you recommend for agressive driving and some track time? I'm putting them on my E39 with E60 550i 2 piece rotors up front, M5 rotors out back with 996 rear calipers.
Thanks! I'll be in contact with you for the FK's in December or so.

For the type of driving you are looking to do, I have found either HAWK HPS or EBS RedStuff to work best!
HAWK Performance Pads, HPS Compound
