new ignition switch faulty?

i know there has been a number of you that have replaced their ignition switch in the past. have any of you had a faulty new switch? i changed the switch because my horn and steering wheel controls didn't work and since changing it the problems were not resolved. i didn't have the sun visor issue before or after the replacement.

I think I've heard of one member have the same issue. Very rare to have two consecutive ignition switch go bad in a short time period though.

if you've lost horn and ALL steering controls, I'm lead to believe you have a problem in the connection between the wheel and steering column - perhaps the slip ring, or a messed up plug.
